How to set up the shortcut

Open Shortcuts → + → name it exactly as above (e.g. 8 Minutes).
Add Get Dictionary from Input and set its input to Shortcut Input (if a “Receive … input” line appears at the top, set it to Text).
Add Get Dictionary Value → Value for key message.
Add another Get Dictionary Value → Value for key to (from the same Dictionary).
Add a third Get Dictionary Value → Value for key medium.
Add If → the medium value is whatsapp: inside it add WhatsApp's Send Message; under Otherwise add Send Message in Messages (iMessage / SMS).
In every Send Message: message = the message value, recipients = the to value. Expand it and turn Show When Run off.
To come back here afterwards: after End If add Open App → Safari (the plain Open App action, not Safari's own “Open View”).
Tap hey here once per app; if iOS asks to allow sending, choose Always Allow. WhatsApp may need the person saved in your Contacts.
